So, nothing nearly as exciting as the week before...
swim -->28 minutes (1500 yards with 1:56 per 100 yds --> this is good for me)
bike --> 1:45 (all on the trainer but with ILT thrown in)
run -->43 minutes (3.5 miles - slow but that's okay)
strength --> 1:29
Total time -->4:25
It's weird seeing that I spent almost as much time strength training as I did riding. I did like it - some arms, some lower body, lots of core. And, I felt it. A couple of days this week I was sore. We really did only have one day running. I didn't slack. I think I have more running this week. Even if I don't, I think I'll put some more in. I like to run and I want to increase my speed.
There were a couple of days when I didn't feel very much like doing anything (for various ridiculous reasons) but I did my workout anyway. Each time I did, I thought "hey, I'm getting stronger and this is helping me be able to do the half-iron next year - go me!"
Pretty boring right now. Maybe something exciting next week.

ReplyDeleteI'm more upset that you let the likes of carolina john comment on your blog! Standards, sister, standards! He'll be a stone tied 'round your neck and he'll drag you down with him ...
... all the way to (*shudder*) South Carolina!
ewwwwwwww-uhhhhhhhhhhhhg!
Woo hoo!!!! (<---That's the sound of celebrating.) We're supposed to CELEBRATE and ABSORB FITNESS. Remember? But I'm not sure what the sound of absorbing fitness would look like in a blog comment - so you may have to take some extra celebration. WOO HOO!! And WOO HOO again! Ok - now I'm starting to sound like an owl and I'm pretty sure there is NOTHING about owls in the training plan.
